When we think of a Spanish cocktail we probably think first of Sangria however I am not sure how Spanish it is because on a recent trip to Madrid I didn’t see one person drinking Sangria but I did see lots of people sipping on Tinto de Verano. Well when in Rome…so I too ordered Tinto de Verano, which translates literally to red wine of the summer. This simple drink is easy to make and incredibly refreshing. I am sure somewhere in France people are cringing at the thought of adding soda to wine but it is certainly working due south.
Serve Tinto de Verano at your next barbecue or poolside gathering and enjoy keeping cool this summer with the ones you love!!!
